Let’s discuss these six columns one by one. The first column contains the file system which is to be mounted on the Linux system. The second column describes the mount point location where it should get mounted. Hi I would like to change the default mount point of partition I tried How to Auto Mount SD card in Yocto Recipes meta-intel-edison But when image.ub. For swap partitions, this field should be specified as `none’. This column describes the filesystem type. The fourth column defines the permissions for the file system.īelow are the different permissions you can give depending on your requirement. These binaries are temporarily made available to them to perform certain tasksġ6) nosuid - Do not allow set-user-identifierġ7) defaults - auto, rw, dev, async, suid, exec & nouser FSTAB DEFAULTS DRIVERġ) ro - Read Onlyĥ) user - Any user can mount, but only unmount device mounted by himĦ) nouser - Only root can mount & unmount the deviceħ) users - Every user can mount and also unmount the device mounted by othersĩ) dev - User can use device driver to mount the deviceġ0) nodev - User cannot use device driver to mount the deviceġ1) exec - Users can execute binaries on the partitionġ2) noexec - Users cannot execute binaries on the partitionġ3) async - Asynchronous, whenever a file is saved it will be first saved in the RAM and after 30 seconds all the queued files will be written on the hard disk.ġ4) sync - Synchronous, whenever a file is saved it will be directly written to the hard diskġ5) suid - Allow set-user-identifier for the device where users are allowed to run binaries even though they do not have execute permissions. This option is for taking the backup of the filesystem while booting. This column defines the order in which the system should scan the partitions on start up. The / partition is assigned top priority i.e. 1 and the rest of the partitions are assigned second priority i.e. If value is set to 0 means no scanning will be done at the time of startup. You can learn how to create LVM volume and mount it using fstab here.Suppose you want to set the default options like read-write(RW), suid, dev, exec, auto, nouser, and async. You can simply write defaults in the fourth field. However, if you are going to provide multiple mount options, separate them using commas. The fifth field is for the backup option. Here we mention whether the file system should be dumped or not using the binary values 0 and 1, where 0 = No backup and 1 = backup. If you do not need to specify any mount options, use the generic option defaults in /etc/fstab. It is an outdated method now, so you can provide 0 and move ahead. Options supported by all versions These options are valid to use with any NFS version. nfsversn The NFS protocol version number used to contact the servers NFS service. If the server does not support the requested version, the mount request fails. In the last field, we need to write the file system check order, also known as the fsck order. This field takes only three values 0, 1, and 2. The value 0 is for not checking the file system and pass, 1 should be set for the root filesystem, and all other partitions should be set to 2. If you do not provide any value, 0 will be selected by default.Īlright, after knowing all the information about a single entry and its fields, now you are fully able to make an entry in the fstab file. This post provides brief and profound knowledge about the fstab file and explains how to make an entry in fstab in Linux. The fstab (or file systems table) file is a system configuration file commonly found at. After reading this post, you can add and mount a hard drive or SSD by making an entry in the fstab file.

Feldman’s grandmother, who helped raise him, also had an old record player (the kind you wound up) and one record that resonated with him: Bill Haley & His Comets, who he knew from the show, Happy Days. He also watched older relatives play piano and his elderly aunt would teach him songs on the instrument. In fact, he says, as a three-year-old, because he couldn’t read then (like all three-year-olds), his mother would prepare him for acting auditions by putting him in a room and telling him to memorize a song “frontwards and backwards.” He learned Beatles songs. He was around rehearsals, musical performances. So, between those examples, music and songs were everywhere. And his sister was a Mousketeer in the Mickey Mouse Club. That it happens to be loaded with swaggering, self-effacing rock music that is nothing but fun seals its fate.Feldman’s father, Robert, performed in the band Strawberry Alarm Clock as well as in cover groups in places like amusement parks, including Magic Mountain in California. Like the film, which has become one of the most beloved cult B-movies of an era full of them, the Beyond the Valley of the Dolls soundtrack deserves the highest critical rating on pop cultural value alone. Beautifully swaying Aquarian ballads ("Come with the Gentle People," "In the Long Run") mix with bluesy hippie anthems ("Look on Up at the Bottom") and hard-hitting heavy rock ("Sweet Talking Candy Man," "Find It") to create the perfect decadent atmosphere. As such, the stars of the soundtrack are actually its conceivers and songwriters, particularly Stu Phillips, who wrote a majority of the music for the film. The band plays themselves as a hip Hollywood combo during the film's first party scene, predictably opening their set with their huge hit, "Incense and Peppermints" (which doesn't appear on the soundtrack), but also chiming in with the lazy country-rock of "Girl from the City," with its interesting anti-back-to-the-land sentiment, and the surprisingly tough biker psych of "I'm Coming Home." The swinging, kitschadelic draw of the whole scenario notwithstanding, the songs themselves make the soundtrack, and, in some small way, the movie as well. The other main contributor (easy listening vocal trio the Sandpipers add the cursory theme song) is that ever-trendy veteran of the psychsploitation film phenomenon, Strawberry Alarm Clock, who also popped up as Jack Nicholson's band in the great Psych-Out a couple years earlier. It is addictive and aphrodisiacal and even makes you feel a bit dirty when hearing it. It is voluptuously perverse and promiscuous music, but also innocently teenage, full of batted eyelashes and wide-eyed curiosity. Just as the actresses (who comically ape their instruments in the movie) embody it, the music is full of interesting contradictions, particularly a hip knowingness played against the childlike irresponsibility of the generation. They sound something like how Janis Joplin might have had she settled in the seedy pop climate of early-'70s Los Angeles (what one reviewer has accurately described as sounding like Joplin's older and uglier sister) crossed with the early Zeppelin-esque pose of Heart, and they inject their songs with both tough-broad vigor and little-girl vulnerability. Most of the songs are performed by the fictitious, all-girl trio the Carrie Nations, who are the main characters of the film. It is a blast, too, even without the accompanying movie. Like the Russ Meyer/Roger Ebert exploito-tragicomic, satirical spoof from which it is derived, the soundtrack to Beyond the Valley of the Dolls is a cheesy, seductive, drugged-out orgy of a good time. La Cuisine provided us with a great experience.First published in 1914, Le Repertoire de La Cuisine is an international culinary treasure written by Escoffier's very own student, Louis Saulnier. Eric made the entire experience fun and informative. I left with a full belly, sugar rush and a box of baba rhum, madelienes and chocolate tarts (after polishing off my crème brulee)! I know have an even greater appreciation for the sweets I view through the glass at the Patisseries! The poultry class was a hoot! Learned all kinds of new techniques and produced a delicious dinner. Even though I an experienced baker, I learned several new tips in the pastry class from Guilliaume and everything we made was delicious. Part cooking class, part floor show! The chef are knowledgeable, talented and entertaining. I booked the Grand Classis French Pastry Class and my husband and I decided to do the Poultry (Volaille) Cooking Class together. When planning our trip to Paris, taking a cooking class was top on my list of things to do. Highly recommend taking a break from all the Paris sightseeing and booking a class (or two, as I did!) at La Cuisine. I love this class and I highly recommend for any one who wants to have a memorable experience in Paris. And they loved it, even it all comes from different shapes. We are able to take home lots of macarons and I was able to share with my friends in Paris. He made sure that we enjoy what we are doing. Erik, the chef for the Macaron technical class was as amazing as Lise too. She made sure everyone helping each other to make the best dish. Lise was kind and not intimidating when she taught the class. The dining was beautiful, you are seated on a long table with a huge glass window facing the Seine River. It was an amazing experienced from the market, to cooking, and to dining. Lise, the chef for the savory class designed the meal plan based on the preference of the clients. I love how we all went to the market and chose fresh produce, poultry, fish, vegetables, fruits, and cheeses. Both were amazing with a very knowledgeable chefs Lise and Erik. I attended the Marche Maubert Paris cooking class and the Macaron technical class. This one was the most memorable moment of my visit in Paris. I got them in a timely manner and they look great, the only complaint I have is the fact that I opened them from eyecansee eyewear and there was already a stone that fell off. I did not know if they would look good or not, but I took a chance, and boy am I happy! I ordered them with black stones on black frame and had them sent to eyecansee eyewear. I fell in love with these once I saw Wendy Williams wearing them. Wear had my prescription put in, and thus far I have received several I truly enjoyed these frames they are classy for everyday just about everywhere I go!!! I will be ordering another pair when my prescription changes. OMG! I have gotten soooo many compliments from friends, family, church members, random people at the malls, restaurants, grocery stores, from little girls to mature women and men. When I tell you how much confidence I have about wearing these glasses. I also wanted to come out of my comfort zone of the usual conservative eyeglass look by thinking outside of the box. When I saw Wendy wearing them, I knew I had to take a chance. I had been searching for the right sized cat-eyed frames to fit my face. They are still a hit and I'm still looking good in them!!!! She said when I walked in, she and her sister knew they were Wendy glasses lol. I told her Wendy wears them during hot topics. I went to a Christmas dinner last week and one of the ladies asked me about them. I'm still getting compliments just about everywhere I go. My prescription changed just a bit which gave me a reason to order my second pair of frames. Took them to my eye doctor's office to get lenses put in them, and had 3 people there complementing me on them. Love the way they look and the way they feel on. Great quality, great service, " shout out " to KIM !.she's the best :) Luv, Luv, Luv !!.so chic, yet sooooo fun!. Posted by Jennifer Venuto on 17th Feb 2017 These Cat Eyes are my GO TO glasses FOREVER!!!!!! Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy helps boost your body’s cellular function and improve your physical and mental health by using magnetic energy to essentially help “recharge” cells. Meanwhile, the mat’s infrared light waves also penetrate through the body, providing all of the benefits of infrared therapy and PEMF therapy in one tool. While exposure to high levels of magnetic fields can be dangerous, these naturally-occurring lower-power fields provide all the benefits of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) technology. The crystal itself also has the ability to produce small, detectable magnetic fields. In 1991, two researchers won the Nobel Prize for a study that identified the negative ion’s involvement in purifying the blood. The importance of negative ions for cellular function has been well recognized in the health space for decades. Covey was the vice-chairman of Franklin Covey Corporation and the founder and CEO of his Covey Leadership Center. His reasons were not focused on material wealth and success in one’s career. To build character and thus to become better leaders. One idea that is particularly interesting is the fact that he did not want people to become more successful after reading and implementing the habits. When asked how he came up with the idea of the 7 Habits , Stephen Covey admitted that these are like natural laws that he just put together and explained to the people. They were put on paper after more than 30 years of observation, practice, and study. “The seven habits of highly effective people” is a book published in the early 90s and not long after that, it became one of the greatest books ever written in that period. That is, your alternator will only supply the amount of amperage a particular component demands-and no more. And it basically operates off of supply and demand. You can never have too much amperage when it comes to alternators therefore, you never have to worry about choosing an alternator with too high of a rated output. Here’s why:Īmperage is basically the amount of electrical current your alternator can supply. For that reason, we’ve supplied a list of some common accessories and their amp draw:Įlectrical Load of Common Vehicle Accessories Accessory That depends on the current draw, along with any future accessories you plan to add. The amp ratings, although slightly higher than the highest draw of each component, will give you a good estimate of your vehicle’s electrical load. One final way to estimate your vehicle’s electrical load is to check the accessory fuses. The output should be 50 percent greater than the draw. Add up the total electrical draw and compare with your alternator’s rated output. Simply connect the ammeter in series with the battery’s ground terminal (with the engine turned off), switch each electrical component on and off, and note their amperage draws. You can also check your electrical load using an ammeter. There are a few ways to figure out whether you need to upgrade your alternator. A few telltale signs are dim headlights, poor stereo system performance, or an alternator that simply wears out quickly. Or you may have a high-end stereo system or a race vehicle with an array of on-board electronics. As the electrical load of all these accessories add up, you may find yourself in need of a higher-amperage alternator. For example, you may have a custom-built street rod with a unique combination of accessories. However, many of our readers don’t have a stock vehicle. These alternators also typically come with a 10 to 15 percent reserve to handle additional accessories. Most factory alternators are rated at 65 to 100 amps and are capable of handling your vehicle’s basic necessities, such as headlights, gauges, fuel pumps, A/C, etc. If you’ve got a basic, stock vehicle, chances are you don’t need a high-output alternator. This starts with the most basic of questions: Do You Really Need a High-Output Alternator? In conjunction with the alternator experts at Powermaster and MSD, we’ve compiled the five things you need to know before upgrading to a high-amp, or high-output alternator. Luckily, we’ve got smart friends to help us with our studies, so you can ace the topic. There are plenty of good reasons to make the leap to a high-output alternator, but you’ll need to do a little bit of homework first. So you’re considering swapping out your stock alternator. What next? Why, you sell them to fences, of course! Grabbing all ranks of Haggling plus all the perks on the left side of the tree will make it easier for you to sell off your loot, which in turn makes it easier to buy filled soul gems (for recharging your weapons) from College of Winterhold members and court wizards for cheap. Speech: So you’ve stolen from half of Skyrim and now you're looking at your ill-gotten gains. Personally, I think Locksmith and Unbreakable take all the fun out of lockpicking, so I only went for Novice – Master Locks and Treasure Hunter. Lockpicking: When it comes to thievery, the Nightingale Archer prefers to use his dexterity to unlock doors and chests to pilfer their contents. You can pick up additional ranks in Stealth if you’d like, but personally, I don’t like being too stealthy because otherwise you end up spending the entire game in sneak mode. That being said, it’s not very heavy on perks all you need is Deadly Aim since the Nightingale Boots and the Muffle spell negate the need for most of the perks on the left side of the tree. Sneak: The other obvious skill of the build, essential for conducting the Nightingale’s operations. Shouts: Aura Whisper and Throw Voice for stealth, Become Ethereal for safely casting master-level Illusion spells, and Slow Time for use with certain tactics (more on this later).Īrchery: The mainstay of the Nightingale’s offense, he can rain down a hail of arrows upon his enemies before they even know he’s there. Pretty balanced spread, the Nightingale’s abilities don’t really favor any one of the attributes much more than the others. Since you'll be using most of your magicka at the beginning of battle, the hit to magicka regeneration isn't that big a deal. The Spell Absorption will be your primary defense against magic attacks, and the extra magicka is nice too. After that, I recommend going with either the Atronach. Stone: In the early going, I went with the Thief for some fast leveling, important since most of the Nightingale’s equipment is leveled. I also recommend becoming a vampire for bonuses to Sneak and Illusion as well as a couple of useful powers. Another nice perk is that they move faster than any other race, which is important for backpedaling and avoiding blows. Their additional 50 magicka, +10 boost to Illusion, Highborn, and starting fury spell helped to shore up the Nightingale’s skill with Illusion spells, particularly during the earlygame. Race: Ultimately, I chose to play an Altmer for several reasons. Thus I settled on making this build, and overall I was rather pleased with the result. Yes, there is Ponty’s Nightingale Swordsman, but I feel like there’s more that could be done with the Nightingale concept, particularly the blend of stealth and agility that the Nightingale Swordsman provides. Secondly, I've noticed that there's general lack of Nightingale builds in the group. I wanted to make a sneak archery build that avoids the boredom most people associate with it. Ponty poked fun at it with his Paladin of Molag Bal, and the most popular build on the site is dedicated to the idea of playing an archer without sneaking. First, sneak archery is arguably the most hated mechanic on the blog. This build came from a couple of converging thoughts. Does he have a real sweet tooth? Go straight for a stack of vegan donuts.
